MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF HOLBROOK PARISH COUNCIL “ARKWRIGHT” PARISH HALL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE HELD AT THE HALL ON MONDAY JUNE 8th 2009 at 7.15.p.m.
PRESENT:- Councillors Biggin, Mrs. Bott, Hall (Chairman of Users’ Committee), Massey (Chairman), Mrs. M. Hall (Treas. U.C.), and Mrs. L. Phipps (Sec. U.C.).

1. MINUTES of the previous meeting were accepted as a true record.
2. MATTERS ARISING :-
a) Exterior painting progressing well.
b) Toilets roof repaired.
3. REPORT FROM USERS’ COMMITTEE:-
The door of the electrical unit in the Main Hall has been prized off the hinges and needs new pins in the hinges. Councillor Hall to ask Karl Chamberlain to have a look at.
4. TREASURER’S REPORT:-
A Financial Statement for the year ended 31 March 2009 had been prepared and signed by the Auditor. It was felt that the £494.23 quoted as Excess of Expenditure over income should read Excess of Income over Expenditure. Mrs. M. Hall (Treasurer) to ask the Auditor to check.

6. REPORT FROM TRUSTEES OF THE NEW PARISH HALL :-
Meeting later in the evening to agree the final transfer documents. Things seem to be moving on.
